Back to the Page – Blue Heron Studio – Autumn 2017 with Sue Reynolds
You love to write but you’re not writing.
Or maybe you have a love/hate relationship with writing, but you know you WANT to write – and you’re still not writing.
It’s September. The lazy days of summer, with all their legitimate and not-so-legitimate excuses of why this is not a good time to write, are over.
Time for Back to School and for writers, it’s time to get Back to the Page!
This course is not organized around a particular genre of writing. It will be organized around you and the writing you want to do. If you have a current project, you can use the class time and the optional homework and feedback to move your novel/short story/poem collection/script/memoir/essays forward.
If you don’t have a particular project Sue will be providing inspiration, prompts and deadlines every week to help you discover your next project.
For Brand New Writers:
If your “Back to the Page†means getting back to your love of writing for the first time in many years, that’s terrific! Sue facilitates her workshops in the AWA Method begun by Pat Schneider (Writing Alone and With Others, and How the Light Gets In) which is a perfect environment to support new writers to discover and experiment with their writing.
For Experienced Writers:
Sue has been leading writing groups, workshops and classes for 20 years, including book-length novel and memoir intensives. She leads her workshops in the AWA method, which has helped hundreds of writers find publication and awards. If what you are looking for is more targeted feedback on your long project, you’ll find it here.
Banish those summertime excuses, stretch your writing muscles and luxuriate in the pleasure of being a writer once again!
